Alex Gray

Described as a flashy and versatile shred guitarist, Alex Gray is catching the eye of many avid music enthusiasts, young and old. Raised on Christian music and classic rock, Alex had a clear idea from a very young age that he was going to be a great guitarist. He received his first guitar when he was 6 years old and has been obsessed with the idea of music and guitar ever since. Gray began to take music more seriously during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020 and has since increased his skill and knowledge of music and guitar. He began taking lessons from Paul Gilbert, George Lynch, Tracii Guns, Phil Shouse, and Kris Gottlieb, all helping him create a unique and versatile rock sound that can be blended with other genres.

 Following a more rock and metal style of playing, Alex has had to learn to adapt and become as versatile as possible to keep a good reputation and create better connections. Because of this, he has landed in bands that play across all genres, including pop, rock, pop-rock, metal, and country.  He’s performed across the Southeast, including a standout national anthem performance at the Birmingham Barons stadium and a set at Deebs Fest with CBDB. He also had the opportunity to play alongside Paul Gilbert, one of his longtime heroes.

As of now, he is currently working on networking and getting his foot in the door to what needs to happen in the music business in order to be successful. By partnering with some of his friends, he has created a D.I.Y. outdoor venue, which has gained traction across Nashville, creating a local place for bands to perform and make connections. Now based in Nashville, Alex continues to grow as a performer, songwriter, and collaborator, with his sights set on touring, releasing original material, and building a career rooted in energy, versatility, and impact.
